Glenn Taylor Richardson, 76, of Plainview died Dec. 18, 2010, at Carillon House in Lubbock under Vista Care. A private interment with his dog Toto will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Glenn was born May 15, 1934, on the family farm in Lubbock County to the late Elbert Glenn and Thetis Taylor Richardson. He graduated from Cooper High School in 1952 and farmed in Woodrow until 1965. Glenn drove a truck for many years for Bush Hog Huskey/Continental Gin Machinery, Texas Instruments, Furr's Supermarket, and retired from Wal-Mart Transportation in Plainview in 2003. Glenn was a member of Plainview Elks Lodge and Cooper Methodist Church in Woodrow. Glenn married Carol Bandy in Lubbock, Texas, in 1978. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Chris Bandy and wife, LeAnn, and Mark Bandy and wife, Laurie, of Lubbock; a daughter, Suzanne Bandy of Amarillo; a sister, Peggy Temple Wall of Plainview; a brother, Tommy Joe Richardson and his wife, Pat, of Austin; nieces, Jo Temple Britt and her husband, Gary, and Suzy Temple Hutcherson and her husband Mike, all of Lubbock, and Denise Temple Bowie and her husband, David, of Pueblo, Colo.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
