Obituary

Funeral services for Dorotha Richardson, 74, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m Saturday at Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mark Weiss, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Richardson died at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2002, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. She was born April 8, 1927, in Oklahoma where she was raised. She moved to Plainview in the 1980s. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Rickman and Connie Robertson of Lubbock; two sons, Freddie Bradley of Hale Center and Jimmie Bradley of Buffalo Springs Lake, Lubbock; one brother, Bill Cookston of Plainview; and two sisters, LaVerne Abbott and Gladys Shook of Plainview, and 13 grandchildren.
