Obituary

Rosary for Rosendo Reyes, 62, of Lubbock, will be 7 p.m. today at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. Lorenzo Catholic Church with Msgr. Roland Buxkemper officiating. Burial will be at Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Richard Calvillo and Calvillo Funeral Home Staff.

Mr. Reyes passed away on Tuesday. He was born on Sept. 1, 1946, in Runge, Texas, to the late Demetro and Josephina Reyes. He married Guadalupe Aguirre on April 18, 1964, in Lorenzo. He was a retired farmer. He moved to Lorenzo in 1983 from Petersburg. He was a Catholic.

Survivors include his wife, of Lorenzo; two sons, Ricky and wife Carmina Reyes of Ralls, and Ramon and wife Irmalinda Reyes of Lorenzo; three daughters, Irene Ramirez of Odessa, Rosalinda and husband Trinidad Arroyo of Petersburg, Yrmalinda and husband Estevan Garcia of Odessa; seven brothers, Lupe of Levelland, Felix and Frank both of Petersburg, Cruz, Fidencio, Rudy and Elias all of Lubbock; seven sisters, Ofelia Miranda and Sofia Beltran both of Lorenzo, Eloisa Tamez, and Manuela Reyes both of of Lubbock, Graciela Reyes and Gloria Reyes both of Dallas, Benita Garcia of Petersburg; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
