Resendez, Joe Gilbert, Mrs. (Gracie Sanchez)

Funeral services for Gracie Sanchez Resendez, 27, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerard Kennedy, pastor, officiating.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Bartley Silva Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home.

Mrs. Resendez died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at Covenant Hospital Plainview.

She was born Dec. 24, 1975, in Lockney. She married Joe Gilbert Resendez on Aug. 23, 1997, in Plainview.

Mrs. Resendez was raised in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School. She worked for Wal-Mart Distribution in Plainview as a date entry clerk.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Her mother, Viola Guerra Sanchez, died in 1982.

Survivors include her husband; three children, Derk, Reagan and Dylan Resendez, all of the home; her father, Isidoro Sanchez Jr. of Plainview; one brother, Gilbert Sanchez of Plainview; and two sisters, Gina Shaver of Graham and Sandra Sanchez Moya of Plainview.
