Reeves, Charles

Funeral services for Charles Reeves, 54, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in College Height Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Robertson, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Reeves died at 2:08 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center Lubbock.

He was born Feb. 13, 1945, in Plainview. He graduated from Plainview High School and attended Southwestern University in Weatherford. He was a farmer.

In 1997, he received the Plainview Daily Herald?s Citizenship Hall of Fame honor for Agriculture.

On Nov. 25, 1969, he married Janet Tarkenton in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Lacy Reeves of Plainview; a son John Reeves of Plainview; three brothers, Jimmy, David and Steve Reeves, all of Plainview; and a sister, Janice Anderson of Meridian.
