Obituary

Graveside services for Hiram H. Reed Sr., 96, of Bellville, were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Plainview Memorial Park with Joe Weldon officiating. Arrangements were by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Reed died Thursday, July 6, 2006, in Briarwood Nursing Home. He was born June 1, 1910, in Oklahoma Territory. He married Clotia Lee Guynes Reed on Sept. 30, 1930, in Portales, N.M. He lived in Briarwood Nursing Home the past four years. Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Brewer of Grand Prairie; three granddaughters, including Dianne Burns and Sandra Nixon of Plainview; and many great-grandchildren. His parents, wife and a son, Hiram H. Reed Jr., are deceased. The family suggests condolences and memorials be sent to: H.H. Reed, P.O. Box 347, Bell-ville, TX 77418.
