Obituary

Funeral services for Pauline "Paulita" Raybal, 88, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Rush Kaufman, pastor of First Baptist Church in Anton, and the Rev. Jesse Rincon, pastor of Genesis Baptist Church in Hereford, officiating. Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today in Lemons Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Raybal died at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, in Prairie House Living Center. She was born June 26, 1913, in Fort Sumner, N.M.
She was a member of Genesis Baptist Church in Hereford. In 1940, she married Doroteo Raybal in Plainview. He died Sept. 21, 1975. Survivors include six daughters, Dolores Mendoza of Hereford, Emma Ortega of Houston, Joann Featherston of Heyburn, Idaho, Lydia Saiz of Plainview, Olivia Vargas of Mexico City, Mexico, and Aloysa Quiroz of Amarillo; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Karen Raybal of Plainview and David and Maryland Raybal of Heyburn, Idaho; one sister, Estella Quintana of Anton; 31 grand- children; 56 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
