As a result of injuries received in a runaway last Saturday afternoon, Mrs. Orelia Ray died at her home, six miles north of town, at 6:30 p.m. yesterday. Mrs. Ray?s age was fifty-eight years. She is survived by seven children, ll
of whom were present except one son, Asa, who is in the navy. One son, Elmer, lives in Hale County; Cecil, at Abernathy; Ira, near Abilene; Will and Wallace, at Muldoon, Texas, and Mrs. Alice Byler, at Abilene. The funeral was held at the home at Four o?clock this afternoon, by Rev. L.E. Gates. Interment was in the Odd Fellows? Cemetery beside her Husband, who died two years ago. W. F. Piper, funeral director for Paxton & Oswald, had charge of the funeral.
