Obituary

Patsy Irene Ray, 74, of Plainview passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at the Lubbock Heart Hospital. Family visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. today, Nov. 1, 2007, at Lemons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with Colquitt Nash, minister at Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were entrusted with Lemons Funeral Home. Patsy was born Dec. 19, 1932, in Cisco, Texas, to Carl Byron Ramsay and Sadie K. Noble Ramsay. She married Truit Ray on Oct. 30, 1971. She was a member of the Las Comrades, the Business and Professional Women and was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She worked for six years with the MHMR Insurance and also for Riverside Chemical. She was later employed with her husband running Ray Electric. Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband and one brother, Jerrold Dean Ramsay. Patsy is survived by her daughter, Judy Barth and husband, Bill, of Lubbock; three grandchildren, Karla Flores and husband Rene, Christina Hinson and husband Frank and Carrie Kirk, all of Lubbock; six great-grandchildren; and her beloved pet, Lil' Buddy.
