Ray, Troyet, Mrs. (Dorothy Florence Wallingsford)

Funeral services for Dorothy Florence Ray, 71, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Clark and the Rev. Q.D. Bevill, associate pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ray died at 2:35 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, in Covenant Hospital.

She was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Waco. She moved to Plainview in 1941 and worked for Central Plains Hospital in the business office for 15 years.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

On June 1, 1946, she married Troyet Ray in Plainview. He died Nov. 6, 1997.

Survivors include four daughters, Patricia McKinney of Plainview, BARBARA Grantham of Baytown, Debby Churchwell of Conroe and Sandra Wilson of Baytown; three brothers, Harlan Wallingsford of Plainview, Jerome Wallingsford of Matador and David Wallingsford of Waco; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Glenda Jones, two brothers and one sister are deceased.
