Ray, Lowell L., Mrs. (Jaqueline Pauline Gleason)

Hale Center ? Funeral services for Jacqueline Ray, 69, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Meacham officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Freeman Abell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ray died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, in Prairie House Living Center in Plainview.

She was born April 6, 1931, in Plainview. She attended schools at Hale Center and North Texas State University. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
On Feb. 21, 1949, she married Lowell Ray in Plainview. He died March 6, 1999.

Survivors include four sons, John L. Ray and Leonard Ray, both of Hale Center, Dennis Ray of Gunter and Jimmy Ray of Aubrey; one daughter, Theresa Summerlin of Edgewood, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Leonard Ray, Dennis Ray, David Rowell, John Blount, Shawn Ray and Steve Lee.

The family suggests memorials to Mission Hale Center, P.O. Box 396, Hale Center TX 79041.
