Rape, William Hazel (Jack)

COTTON CENTER ? Graveside services for William H. ?Jack? Rape, 86, of Amarillo, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Center Plains Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Neal, pastor of Coulter Road Baptist Church in Amarillo, officiating.

Burial arrangements are by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home in Hale Center.

Mr. Rape died Tuesday, May 26, 1999, in Baptist St. Anthony Hospice in Amarillo.

He was born Jan. 19, 1913, in Memphis, Texas. He lived in the Hale Center and Cotton Center area while growing up. He was employed at Phillips Petroleum from 1944-1977. He was a member of Coulter Road Baptist Church in Amarillo.

On Nov. 5, 1932, he married Loraine McMinn in Clovis, N.M.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Wayne Ray Rape of Denton; a daughter, Beverley Wilson of Roswell, N.M.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Baptist St. Anthony Hospice and Life Enrichment Program, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176 or to a favorite charity.
