Obituary
Kim Nanette Randolph passed away May 9, 2012. She was born Dec. 6, 1956, to James Odom and Annette Cardinal Odom in Plainview, Texas.
Kim spent her adult life and career working in different facets of education. She graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in physics, chemistry and education. She went on to earn a master's degree in education, a superintendent's certificate and was in the process of obtaining a doctorate in education from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin. Kim had worked as a teacher, assistant principal and principal. She currently served as Ector County ISD's science curriculum coordinator. She was recognized for her superior leadership with a World Class Leader in Education award in November 2011. A member of Plainview's First Baptist Church, Kim's life reflected the goodness given to her by her faith. She was gracious to everyone and a blessing to all by showing God's mercy.
Kim loved life and family. She was a great mother to her three sons, and her activities in life were family-centered. She loved to travel as well. Kim's favorite Bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11-13, showed always that God provided goodness and a future of hope.
Kim is survived by her three children, William Matt Randolph, James Parker Randolph and Wayne Taylor Randolph; her parents, James and Annette Odom; three sisters, Karla Glowicki, Kathi Holland and Konnie Schafer; nieces and nephews, Amy Jett, Gracie Glowicki, Katie Reese, Andrea Gerig, Erin Berry, Galvan Schafer, Daniel Schafer, Kassie Schafer and Harlan Schafer; and her many friends.
