Funeral services for C.O. "Scatter" Randolph, 79, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Assembly of God with the Rev. Neil Unwin, pastor of First Assembly of God in Socorro, N.M., officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Randolph died at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, in Prairie House Living Center. He was born Jan. 21, 1922, in Frederick, Okla. and graduated from high school in Tipton, Okla. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944-45. He owned and operated Randolph Trucking and was a member of First Assembly of God. He married Merle Mulkey on Oct. 13, 1978, in Clovis, N.M. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Janie McLain of Dumas and Dorenda Adams of Lubbock; two stepdaughters, Karla Kepler of Salida, Calif. and Karen Boyer of Key West, Fla.; two sons, Wayne Randolph of Amarillo and Randy West of Capistrano, Calif.; three brothers, Vernon Lewis of Austin, T.L. Randolph of Clovis, N.M. and Edward Carroll of Plainview; two sisters, Wanda Jean Lovejoy of Frederick, Okla. and Oleta Bowen of Lubbock; a sister-in-law, Joyce Johnson of Plainview; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Two sons, Donnie and Charlie Randolph, and a brother, Fred Randolph, are deceased. Pallbearers will be David Morphis, Darren Morphis, Clinton Thrasher, Emmitt Tipton, David Milstead and Royce Carlton. The family suggests memorials to First Assembly of God Building Fund.
