Darlene Ramsay -- Parklawn
Funeral services for Darlene Ramsay, 76, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Weiss officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ramsay died Tuesday, March 20, 2007. She was born April 22, 1930, in Nedosha, Kan., to Herman and Etta Meriwether. She married Jerrold D. Ramsay on Sept. 22, 1945, in Odessa. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Mikelle Ramsay of Clarksville, Tenn., and Donald Ramsay of Plainview; two daughters, Linda Adams of Lubbock and Jacqulynn Smith of Plainview; two sisters, Bonnie Allen and Wanda Meriwether, both of Tolar; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her parents; husband; two sons, Jerrold W. Ramsay and Danny C. Ramsay; and two grandchildren, Joshua D. Ramsay and Jonathan M. Smith, are deceased.
