Obituary

Memorial services for Christopher "Chris" James Ramos, 29, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bartley Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are with Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Ramos died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born Oct. 2, 1978, to Martha Riojas and Reynaldo Ramos. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1996 and attended Wayland and West Texas A&M University in Canyon. He lived in Austin from 1998-2008. He worked as a medical technician in the cardio unit of South Austin Hospital. Survivors include his parents; stepfather, Rickey Riojas; five brothers, Robert Rey Ramos, Rey Ramos, Raymond Ramos, Luis Ramos and Raul Ramos; two sisters, Sarah Ramos and Lilly Ramos; and his grandparents, Luis and Anna Soto of Plainview.
