Rackley, Louis, Mrs. (Martha)

Graveside services for Martha Rackley, 88, of San Antonio will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview with Jeffery Scott of First Baptist Church in Levelland officiating.

Burial arrangements are by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center.

Mrs. Rackley died Friday, Sept. 20, 2002, in San Antonio.

She was born March 18, 1914, in Emhouse. She married Louis Rackley on May 4, 1932, in Durant, Okla., and they moved in 1948 to Edmonson/Plainview area until he retired in Hale Center. He died March 7, 1979.

She was a member of McCoy Baines Chapter of DAR in Plainview and Beta sigma Phi National Sorority since 1956.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Rackley of San Antonio and Mike Rackley of Clovis, N.M.; two daughters, Patsy Baker of Lebanon, Mo., and Shirley Hay of San Antonio; a sister, Charlotte Walker of Corsicana; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great- grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity or the American Heart Association, Box 913, Plainview, TX 79072.
