Tommy Ray Quisenberry, 61, of Plainview passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, in Plainview. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Edward Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. A visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 p.m. today, Feb. 11, 2011, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mr. Quisenberry was born Dec. 18, 1949, in Lockney, Texas, to Billy Ray and Bettye Ruth Quisenberry. He married Sandie Allen on Aug. 25, 1991, in Plainview. He went to school in Kress and graduated from Floydada High School. He worked for Pioneer Natural Gas, the Plainview Police Department and the district attorney's office. He also worked at the Tarrant County District Attorney's office and at the time of his death was working at the Wheeler/Formby Department of Corrections. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Sandie Quisenberry of Plainview; his children, Melissa Huffhines and her husband, Mark, of Hale Center, Rebecca Gloyna and her husband, Paul, of Hale Center and Scotty Quisenberry of Plainview; his mother, Bettye Ruth Quisenberry of Plainview; two brothers, Ricky Joe Quisenberry and his wife, Suzy, of Plainview and George Thomas Quisenberry and his wife, Betty, of Floydada; five grandchildren, Blake and Emily Gloyna and Karson, Katy and Ky Huffhines; and several nieces and nephews.
