Obituary

Funeral Mass for Jesus Villa Quintana, 71, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Quintana died Tuesday, May 5, 2009, in Plainview. He was born Dec. 12, 1937, to Pedro and Jesusa Quintana in Yorktown. He married Estella Rodriguez on Aug. 17, 1954. He was a butcher for Jimmy Dean Meat Co. and worked at Cargill Meat Solutions for 20 years. Survivors include two sons, Jesus Quintana Jr. of Alamo and Michael Hernandez of Plainview; three daughters, Hanie Hinojosa and Margareta Quintana Sanchez, both of Plainview, and Teresa Quintana Munoz of Pasadena; five brothers, Lupe Quintana, Juan Quintana, Inocencio Quintana, Refugio Quintana and Anastacio Quintana; two sisters, Rosa Quintana and Lucinda Quintana; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. His parents; wife; one sister, Romanita Quintana; and three brothers, Esteban Quintana, Celestino Quintana and Pedro Quintana, are deceased
