Quezada, Santiago

Funeral mass for Santiago Quezada, 74, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. John Ohlig, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Chapel.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Quezada died at 12:10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born July 25, 1929, in Durango, Mexico. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

In July of 1952, he married Maria Fernandez in Durango.

Survivors include his wife; seven daughters, Paula Quezada, Santa Quezada, Tomasa Quezada, Dubi Quezada, Eva Quezada and Felice Quezada, all of Plainview, and Otheila Quezada of Mexico; four sons, Gerardo Quezada, no address given, Alfredo Quezada and Manuel Quezada, both Plainview and Ruperto Quezada of Mexico; 50 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Two sons, Felipe and Cipiano Quezada, are deceased.
