Obituary

Funeral services for Manuel Quezada, 44, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulo, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 6 tonight in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Quezada died Sunday, June 25, 2006, at his residence. He was born Dec. 20, 1961, in Delores Hidalgo, Durango, Mexico. He married Adelina Silva on Nov. 10, 1984 in Plainview. He worked for Wal-Mart Distribution Center and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Priscilla Quezada and Zandra Quezada, both of Plainview; two brothers, Alfredo Quezada of Plainview and Ruberto Quezada of Juarez, Mexico; seven sisters, Otilla Sanchez of Donato Guerra, Durango, Mexico, and Paula Cervantes, Santa Mendoza, Tomasa Morales, Maria Lopez, Eva Salas and Felipa Quezada, all of Plainview; his mother, Maria Fernandez of Mexico; one grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. His father, Santiago Quezada, and three brothers, Cipriano Quezada, Felipe Quezada and Gerardo Quezada, are de-ceased.
