Pyle, Ira

Funeral services for Ira Franklin Pyle, 69, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with Benny Estes officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Pyle died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, in Nix Medical Center in San Antonio.

She was born Nov. 22, 1933, in Elmore, Okla. HE served with the U.S. Navy. He was a boiler maker and worked for the Amarillo ISD. He moved from Plainview to San Antonio in April 2002.

On Jan. 7, 1974, he married Gracie Loise McDuffee in Clovis, N.M. She died Aug. 25, 1997.

Survivors include three daughters, Shelly Hembree of Plainview and Rolanda Elder abd Olivia Fennel, both of Cocoa, Fla.; a son, Chad Pyle of San Antonio; a brother, Floyd Pyle of Olton; a sister, Omega Pyle of Plainview; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildrn.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
