Obituary

Betty Jo Price LUBBOCK - Services for Betty Jo Snow Price, 82, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010, in Sanders Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Abernathy Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. Mrs. Price went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 22, 2010. Betty Jo was born Feb. 9, 1928, to Earl and Flossie Snow in Caddo, Okla. She was raised in Oklahoma City and moved to Lubbock where she married Pete Price on Nov. 26, 1947. She was an office manager in the cotton industry from 1947 until retiring from ContiCotton in 1993. She and her husband were members of the Horner Lake Fishing Club. Her family was the most important thing in her life. Loved ones include her children, T.J. Price, Janie Pool, Cathy Redden and husband, Tim and Vickie Dunn and husband, Jimmy; two sisters, Pat Douglas and Carolyn Snow; grandchildren, Tim Redden Jr. and wife, Angela, Tammy Washburn and husband, Tony, Jim McCright and wife, Carol, and Dena Nordstrom and husband, Brian; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her sister, Jerry Mowles. Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association . The family will receive friends from 5:30-7 p.m., today at Sanders Funeral Home.
