Obituary

Sally Ann Prah, 60, of Plainview passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at Covenant Hospital in Plainview. Sally was born March 5, 1946, in Ellsinore, Calif., to John Leroy Monahan and Alice Vivian Broaddus Monahan. She married Karl Heinz Prah Aug. 16, 1973, in Amarillo. He preceded her in death May 16, 1981. She worked in the health care industry as a PCT for many years. She made many friends along the way that helped care for her through the last struggles and illness in her life. Sally is survived by her sons, John Christopher Prah of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Michael Wayne Prah of Hawaii; sisters, Sharon Lee Wichman of Mansfield, Texas, and Rosemary Dawson of Stinnett, Texas; brother, John Michael Monahan of Red Mountain, Texas; two granddaughters; three grandsons; two nieces and three nephews. A memorial will be set up at Lemons Funeral Home for family and friends to come by and visit Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, through Monday, Feb. 19, 2007. Memorial may be made in lieu of flowers to the local fire department and to the American Cancer Society.
