Pool, Raymond J., Mrs. (Lois Bishop)

Funeral services for Lois Pool, 91, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the college Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Robertson, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pool died at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2003, in Plainview Healthcare Center.

She was born Sept. 12, 1911 in Sanger and attended schools in Sanger, Ranger and Happy Union. She moved to Plainview in 1925 and married Raymond Pool on Feb. 3, 1987, in Plainview.

She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.

Surviving are her Husband; two sons and a daughter- in-law, Bobby J. Bishop of Irving and L. Wayne and Teresa Bishop of Marrieta, Ga.; Two step-daughters, Donna Gilbreath of Plainview and Anna McPherson of Arlington; a brother-in-law, Hobbie Smith of Plainview; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

Her first husband, Arnold W. Bishop, and a brother and two sisters are deceased.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society of College Heights Baptist Church.
