"This too shall pass", would describe mom best. Faith was the foundation our family was built on and what we continue to reflect on even in the most diffcult of times. She taught us life is short and to appreciate all of the little things because down the road they would become the big things. With all who crossed her path, mom always made sure they never walked away a stranger.
She has left behind a legacy not only of family and friends but a lifetime of love, memories, and many bits of widsom and that will forever carry on through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
"I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living
my mommy you'll be."
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Ponciano, Jr.
She is survived by her husband Pablo Ponciano of Lubbock, TX, 4 daughters, Suzanne P. Valenzuela of Victoria, TX, Michele Ponciano-Doggett of Lubbock, TX, Gina Ponciano-Dunlop of Clarksville, TN and Cristal Ponciano of Lubbock, TX, 12 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren, a brother, Andrew Guillen of Lubbock, TX and a sister, Julie Saucedo of Abernathy, TX.
