Obituary

Funeral services for Elizabeth "Lisa" Ponce, 47, of Hart will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7 p.m.Tuesday at Bartley Memorial Chapel. Ms. Ponce died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, in Hale Center. She was born Jan. 19, 1960, in Weslaco to Texasto Isaias and Maria Ponce. She worked at the Marshall Formby Unit the past six years. She was a member and teacher at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Blanca Yanet Isa Murillo of Hart; her mother, Mary Ramirez of Hart; three brothers, Joe Lewis Ponce of Brownsville, Isaias Vera Ponce Jr. of Floydada and Edward Ramirez Jr. of Hart; and four sisters, Linda Peralez of Plainview, Vickie Hinsley of Plainview, Noemi Ponce of Dimmitt and Dilphia McCollum of Peyton, Colo. Her father is deceased.
