Polite, Hannie Willis, Mrs. (Arnega)

Funeral services for Arnega Polite, 94, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Bartley-Silva Memorial Chapel with Elijah Nemmons officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home.

Mrs. Polite died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001, at her residence.

She was born Oct.2, 1906, in Arden, Ark. She lived in Ashdown, Ark., before recently moving to Plainview.

On Dec. 26, 1926, she married Hannie W. Polite in Ashdown. He is deceased.

Survivors include her son, Earvin Polite of Plainview; two daughters, Willie Faye of Plainview and Emigen Polite of Amarillo; a sister, Ivan Tramell of Ashdown; a nephew, James Nelson of Forman, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel.
