Funeral services for Elizabeth Phillips, 81, of Plainview will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Bishop S.E. Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Phillips died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Plainview Healthcare Center. She was born Aug. 27, 1928, in DeKalb to Tom and Annie Johnson. She married P.W. Phillips on Dec. 21, 1947, in New Boston. She was a member of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ. Survivors include two sons, Charles Phillips and Donny Phillips, both of Plainview; one daughter, Willie Faye Stidom of Plain?view; one brother, Billy Ray Johnson of Houston; 13 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
