Perkins, Delbert

Lubbock-- Funeral services for Delbert Perkins, 67, formerly of Abernathy with Larry Perkins and George Dodd officiating.

Burial will be at Abernathy Cemetery by Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock.

Mr. Perkins died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, in Lubbock.

He was born March 20, 1936, in Sylvester and married Maybell Neis on Deb. 20, 1957, in Abernathy.

In 1950, Mr. Perkins moved to Abernathy where he farmed until 1997.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Abernathy.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Donna Perkins of Lubbock; a son, Larry Perkins of McLean; two brothers, Bob Perkins of Abernathy and Rust Harrell of Plainview; a sister, Grace Dodd of Graceville, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Two brothers, G.W. Perkins and W.A. Perkins, are deceased.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church in Abernathy from 1-2 p.m. Friday before the service.
