Obituary

Teresa A. Perez, 36, of Lubbock has begun her journey with our Heavenly Father after a heroic battle with cancer on Dec. 11th, 2010. She was born Aug. 9th, 1974 in Fort Worth, TX to Emilio and Genoveva Perez.

Terry grew up in Lubbock, and was a graduate of Lubbock High School. She enjoyed shopping and bingo with her Dad. Becoming a mom to her four babies was her greatest achievement. Always humble and brave, her humor and outlook on life will never be forgotten.

Memories of Terry will be cherished by her four children, Adrian and Ivan Garcia of Lubbock, Isabella and Alejandro Perez of Midland; her father, Emilio and Mary Frances Perez; siblings, Mona Lisa Perez of Brownfield, Gina, Edward, Johnny and Jamie Perez all of Lubbock; grandmother, Fidencia Castro of Lubbock; and by her many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Though she will be dearly missed, she will be reunited with her mother, Genoveva Perez in heaven.

To summarize her life she was a giver, she gave her time and love to everyone she met.

A celebration of Terry's life will be on Monday, December 13th at Ossie Curry Funeral Home in Lubbock from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday December 14th at Iglesia Bautista Providencia located at 1301 49th St in Lubbock at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Abernathy Cemetery.

Our family would like to extend our gratitude to all the angels at VistaCare who aided Terry on her journey.
