Obituary

Rosary for Paula R. Perez, 90, of New Deal will be at 7 p.m. Friday at King of the Apostles Catholic Church in New Deal.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the same church with Daniel Castro officiating.

Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels of Lubbock.

She died Wednesday, July 18, 2001.

She was born Nov. 25, 1910, in Runge and married Gomesindo Perez Sr. He died June 4, 1996. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include five sons, Antonio and Ambrocio, both of Slaton, Pascual "Pete" and Nabor Sr., both of New Deal, and Gomesindo Jr. of Lubbock; two daughters, Guadalupe Madrigal of Kenedy and Connie Deanda of Stratford; a sister, Francis Flores of Lubbock; a brother, Thomas Reyes of Oklahoma; 47 grandchildren; and 105 great-grandchildren.
