Obituary

Funeral services for Clemente M. Perales, 63, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Pastor Miguel Perez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today with a prayer service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Perales died Monday, April 23, 2012. He was born Dec. 15, 1948, in San Benito to Ebaristo and Francisa Martina Perales. He married Olga Zuniga on Oct. 10, 1972, in Plainview. He worked for Excel Meat Packing for 28 years. Survivors include his wife; three sons and daughters-in-law, Clemente Jr. and Orfa Perales of Lockney and Arturo and Arlene Perales and David and Mary Jane Perales, all of Plainview; a daughter, Alicia Alexander of Lubbock; a brother, Anastacio Perales of Ciudad Mante, Tamaplipas, Mexico; a sister, Margarita Serna of Houston; 22 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
