Pena, Tony Soliz, Mrs. (Veronica Montez)

Funeral services for Veronica Pena, 41, of Amarillo, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerard Kenney, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pena died at 12:27 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, in S.C.C.I Hospital in Amarillo.

She was born Dec. 2, 1959, in Tulia. On March 20, 1978, she was married to Tony Pena in Plainview. He died Sept. 11, 1996.

Survivors include one daughter, Davida Pena of Amarillo; one son, Eldon Pena of Amarillo; five brothers, Vincent Montez of Colorado City, Eugene Montez and Eric Montez, both of Tahoka, and Derak Montez and Jerry Flores, Both of Midland; one sister, Beverly Munoz of Tahoka; her mother, Diana Flores of Plainview; and two grandchildren.
