Obituary

Funeral services for Robert A. Peggram, 73, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the Petersburg Cemetery by Sanders Funeral Home. Mr. Peggram died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006. He was born Sept. 20, 1932, in Quail, to Alfred and Luna Peggram. He was a farmer and had worked for Borden's. He was a member of First Baptist Church and active in the State School Parents Association. Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Vasermanis of Lubbock; one son, Jeffrey Peggram of Lubbock; four sisters, Dorothy Hemphill of Abernathy, Ruby Thomas of Troy, Mo., Betty Gregory of Plainview and Inez Chambliss of Hobbs, N.M.; one brother, Don Peggram of Hale Center; and three grandchildren. A son, Richard Peggram, is deceased. The family will receive friends from 7-8 tonight at Sanders Funeral Home. They suggest memorials to the State School Parents Association.
