Obituary

Haven Maree Pedroza, infant daughter of Yvette Pedroza Tijerina of Lubbock, passed on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at St. Paul's Lutheran Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, in Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview. Father Raymundo Manriquez of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Plainview will officiate. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Francisco "Frank" Pedroza; three uncles; a cousin, Ashton Blair Herrera; and a great-grandmother, Maria Luisa Herrera. Haven is survived by her mother, Yvette Pedroza Tijerina of Lubbock; siblings, Matthew Ray Tijerina of Lubbock and Yvonne Tijerina of Corpus Christi; a niece and nephew, Joelda Aguilar and Isaiah Tijerina of Corpus Christi; a grandmother, Mary Ellen Pedroza of Plain?view; one aunt, Stephanie Ann Guerra; two uncles, Adrian Pedroza of Lubbock and Steven R. Pedroza of Plainview; and five cousins, Xavier and Xandra Guerra of Plainview, Devin Pedroza of Progress, and Alyssa and Makayla Pedroza of Lubbock. "I would especially like to thank my mom and sister, as well as all my family including the Tijerinas, my friends, and my newly-found PHA family for their love, faith, hope and support during this difficult illness and pregnancy that I've endured as long as I could."
