Obituary

Francisco "Frank" Pedroza, 60, passed away on Sept. 5, 2009, in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services for Mr. Pedroza will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Manriquez, officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Mr. Pedroza was born on July 9, 1949, to Luis and Maria De Jesus Pedroza in Brownsville, Texas. He married Mary E. Herrera on Aug. 10, 1972, in Olton, Texas. He was a retired self-employed truck driver who enjoyed riding his Harley and working on cars in his spare time. He was a member of The Harley Owners Group and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church He is survived by his wife; two sons, Adrian Pedroza and his wife Renea of Wolfforth and Steven Pedroza of Plainview; two daughters, Yvette Tijerina and her husband Michael of Plainview and Stephanie Pedroza of Plainview; nine grandchildren, Xxavier Guerra, Xandra Guerra, Alyssa Pedroza, Devin Pedroza, Dylan Dunbar, Makayla Pedroza, Matthew Tijerina, Mikey Tijerina and Yvonne Tijerina; two great-grandchildren, Joelda Aguilar and Isaiah Tijerina; one sister, Mary Pedroza of Olton; three brothers, Mario Pedroza of Woodrow and Mike and Manuel Pedroza, both of Olton. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Cirildo Pedroza and Jose Adrian Pedroza.
