Paxton, A.H.
Funeral services for A.H. Paxton, 83, will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday in the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Arlen Ankle, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home.
Mr. Paxton died on Saturday, June 9, 2001 in Covenant Medical Center, Lubbock.
He was born on August 20, 1917 in Granite, Okla. He moved to Abernathy in 1936 from Granite, Okla., and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
On Jan. 31, 1944, he married Ann Vasek in Abernathy.
He is survived by his wife; one son; Edward Boyce Paxton of Baytown; three brothers, Marvin Paxton of Jacksonville, Fla., Thurman Paxton of Mangum, Okla., and Don Paxton of Houston; and one sister; Elouise Stanley of Atlanta, Ga.
A son, E.B. Paxton, is deceased.
