Parsons, Thrane, Mrs. (Mary Imogene)

Funeral services for Mary Imogene Parsons, 89, will be at 10 a.m., Monday at First Baptist Church Family Life Chapel with Eddie Curry minster of education, officiating.

Burial will be at Plainview Memorial Park by Wood Danning Funeral Home. Mrs. Parsons died a 6:03 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2003, at a private nursing home in Plainview.

She was born Sept 9, 1913 in Limestone County. She moved to West Texas in 1928 and attended Hooper School in Quarterway community.

She farmed in the area until her retirement.

Mrs. Parsons was a member of the Home Demonstration Club. Garden Club and Pastor?s Class at First Baptist Church.

She loved to sew and garden.

Her husband, Thrane Parsons died June 22, 1983. A daughter Avanell DuBose is also deceased.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law. Wanda and Frank Bass of Plainview. Thralene Smith of Redlands. Calit and John DuBose of Dallas, nine grandchildren 18 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
