Obituary

Memorial services for Barbara Jean Parker, 65, will be at 7 tonight at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. today in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Parker died Sunday, March 19, 2006, at her residence. She was born Feb. 18, 1941, in Springfield, Mo., to William and Mertha Morgan. She married Sam Parker on July 24, 1974, in Lubbock. She was a daycare director for many years. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Betsy Berry of Amarillo and Carla Rushing of Dallas; three sons, Bryan Berry of Arlington, David Parker of Toronto, Canada, and Jordan Parker of Plainview; one brother, William Morgan of Amarillo; and six grandchildren.
