Pair, Floyd B., Mrs. (Bessie)

Funeral Services for Bessie Pair, 91, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pair died at 9:05 a.m. Sunday, March 16, 2003, in Plainview Health Care Center.

She was born April 12, 1911, in Commerce where she grew up. She moved to Roosevelt when she was 17. She lived in Union, between Wilson and Woodrow, before moving to Kress in 1955. She moved to Plainview in 1974.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

On Dec. 26, 1926, she married Floyd B. Pair in Wilson. He died March 29, 1974.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Helen Pair of Plainview; two daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Raymond David of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Martha and Jess Willard of Scratford; a brother, Waylon Dearing of Commerce; two sisters, Mary Roach of Cleveland and Lia Ray Payton of Roswell, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Lemons Funeral Home.
