Obituary

Graveside services for Debbie Owens, 53, formerly of Plainview, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Parklawn Memorial Gardens with Ron Huckeby, lay minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. Owens died Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born March 5, 1953, in Plainview to Bobby and Mildred Shaddix. She married John Owens on Feb. 5, 1972, in Plainview. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Lisa Owens and Jeremy and Donna Owens, all of Lubbock; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Barbara and Danny Carson of Hart, Glenda Favila and Brenda Shaddix, both of Plainview; and five grandchildren. Her parents are deceased.
