Obituary

Memorial services for Emma Frances Osthus, 72, of Plainview will be held at 9th and Columbia Church of Christ Fellowship Hall at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Osthus died on Oct.1, 2009, in Plainview. Mrs. Osthus was born on Dec. 4, 1936, to George Grady and Imogene Hall in Harmon County, Okla. She later married J.K. Osthus, who died in 2004. Emma enjoyed crafting and listening to books on tape. She is survived by two sisters, Zella Powell and Linda Baker, both of Plainview, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband and one sister, Elsie Jane Kennedy
