Funerals services for Frances Osborne, 92, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Max Browning, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Osborne died at 3:36 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2001, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 5, 1908, in Green Castle, Mo. She moved to Plainview in 1914. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, the Methodist Missionary Society, Joyful Singers, Quester Club and Delphin Club. She also was an artist and taught private art lessons and worked part time as a school teacher in the Plainview ISD.
On Aug. 10, 1930, she married Ray Brown in Cimarron, N.M. He died April 20, 1973. She married Mayes Osborne in November 1982 in Plainview.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Ken Owen of Austin and Katherine and George Lowe of Lubbock; four grandchildren, Rex Lowe, Janie Lowe, Steve Owen and Ann Wensel; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Lowe and Matthew Lowe; and other survivors, Catherine Davenport of Waco, Ethel Ramsower of Plainview, Bill Osborne of Dallas and Margaret Rathkamp of San Antonio; 13 step-grandchildren and 26 step-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Church or to a favorite Charity.
