Obituary

Funeral Mass for Romana R. Ojeda, 49, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. John Ohlig, pastor, officiating. Burial will be Plainview Cemetery by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Bartley-Silva Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Ojeda died Friday, May 24, 2002. She was born Aug. 9, 1952 in Cameron County but had lived in Plainview most of her life. She married Robert Ojeda on Sept. 20, 1973 in Plainview. She worked for Community Action Home Health, the Old Mexico Restaurant and the Acco Restaurant in Plainview. She attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church when her health permitted. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Augustina Hurtado of Kress; four brothers, Augustin "Augie", Juan and Leonel Reyna, all of Plainview and Raymundo "Moondog" Reyna of Floydada; her parents, Maria Natalia Robledo Reyna and Marcelino Sanchez Reyna, both of Plainview; two sisters, Sylvia Garcia of Plainview and Marcelina Saenz of Lubbock; and four grandchildren, Anjeanette, Annamarie, Anissa and Andrea Hurtado, all of Kress. A son, Robert Ojeda Jr., is deceased. The family will receive friends from 7-8 tonight at the funeral home.
