Obituary

Graveside services for Maye Belle Ogle, 85, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Plainview Memorial Park with Darwin Cox of Edmonson officiating. Burial will be by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mrs. Ogle died at 3:55 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Bishop Davies Nursing Home in Hurst. She was born May 6, 1919, in Plainview to Henry and Gladys Greenhaw. She married Homer Dan Ogle on Feb. 5, 1968, in Morton. He died April 26, 1986. Mrs. Ogle grew up and lived in Halfway all of her life. She operated the Halfway Grocery until 1966 and then began farming in Halfway. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Halfway Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Sylvia Harmon of Claude, Gladys Pinkerton-Whisenhunt and Keith Whisenhunt of Azle and Rhonda; one son, Billy Ward Pinkerton of Abernathy; one step-son, Danny Ogle and his wife, Jan, of Clovis, N.M.; three step-daughters; one brother and sister-in-law, John D. and Marion Hendrick of Ingram; one sister, Mary Lee Pinkerton of Plainview; one sister-in-law, Sally Hendrick of Houston; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her parents and a brother are deceased. Memorials are suggested to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Minneapolis, Minn., or a favorite charity.
