Nutt, Jewell Gibson, Mrs. (Ellie L.)

Funeral services for Ellie Nutt, 83, will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Garland Street Church of Christ with J.W. Hambly, an elder, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nutt died at 9:15 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2001, at Covenant Hospital in Plainview

She was born Dec, 11, 1917, in Wood County, Texas, where she grew up and attended Hawkins schools.

She married Jewell G. Nutt on Aug. 10, 1933 in Wood County. He died March 11, 1977, in Plainview. They moved to Cotton Center in 1942 and lived there until 1966 when they moved to Plainview. She was a homemaker and a member of Garland Street Church of Christ.

Grandsons will be pallbearers. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Jerry Ulmer of Plainview: a son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Barbara Nutt of Floydada; two daughters-in-laws, Dorothy Nutt and Janice Stanton of Dimmitt; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Two sons also are deceased. Charles Nutt died in 1986 and Jerry Nutt died in 1990.

The family suggests memorials to the Lubbock Children?s Home. The family will receive friends at Wood-Dunning Funeral Home today from 2:30 until 4p.m.
