PETERSBURG - Funeral services for Adelina E. Nunez, 83, were at 11 a.m. today in Primera Iglesia Bautista with the Jesus Cisneros officiating. Prayer services were at 7 p.m. Sunday in Resthaven?s Abbey Chapel in Lubbock. Burial was in Petersburg Cemetery by Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock. Mrs. Nunez died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001. She was born March 31, 1938, in Yazoo County, Miss. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal. Survivors include a son, Domingo Lopez Jr., of Nunn, Colo.; five daughters, Lucy Garza and Belen Nunez, both of Petersburg, and Lisa Mojica, Lupe Martinez and Lydia Lopez, all of Lubbock; two brothers, Mike Espinosa of Snyder and Eloy Espinosa of Garden City, Kan.; six sisters, Angelina Herrera of East Chicago, Ind., Tina Acevedo of Gould, Okla., Enedina Castaneda of Hollis, Okla., and Isabel Maestas and Cenaida Espinosa, both of Snyder; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
