Noel, Ray Allen

Funeral services for Ray Allen Noel, 48, of Amarillo, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. R.E. Savage, director of missions in Great Bend, Kan., officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Noel died recently at his residence.

He was born June 9, 1952, in Plainview. He attended Plainview and Hillsboro schools and joined the Navy at an early age. He served in the Vietnam War aboard an aircraft carrier. He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Cody Noel of Amarillo; a brother, Jerry Noel of Clifton; a sister, Theresa Peterson of Clifton; and his grandmother, Gayle Gargill of Great Bend, Kan.

The family suggests memorials to the Diabetes Association.

Family visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
