Graveside services for Olga Ellen Todd Nicholson, 83, of Hale Center will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, in Hale Center Cemetery in Hale Center with the Rev. Jimmy Cameron, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Hale Center. Mrs. Nicholson died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at Covenant Hospital in Plainview, Texas. She was born Nov. 26, 1926, in Welch, Texas. She graduated from Hale Center High School and Lippert Business College. She had worked as a receptionist for Hi-Plains Hospital for many years. She was member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of First United Methodist Church in Hale Center. She married Cecil Nicholson. He died May 27, 1994. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Pam Clark of Hale Center and Phyllis and Tommy Overstreet of Abernathy; three grandsons and their wives, Brian Clark of Fort Hood, Tad Overstreet and K.C. of Shallowater, and Aaron and Jennie Clark of Amarillo; one granddaughter, Rachel Overstreet of Lubbock; four great-grandsons, Tanner Clark and Landon Clark of Crosbyton, Caden Clark of Amarillo and Brooks Overstreet of Shallowater; one great-granddaughter, Katy Overstreet of Shallowater; one sister and brother-in-law, Fern and Don Roberts of Flower Mound; and one aunt, LaVerne Enger of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by a brother, Talmadge Todd. The family will receive friends at Abell Funeral Home in Hale Center from 6-7:30 p.m. today.
